A-technique for beam based alignment of sextupole systems is developedexploitingtbeenhancementeffectoforbitdifferencesby the sxt4daThis technique can in principle be applied to sextupole or sextupole strings with controlled orbit pattern and BPM configuration. This paper will discuss the theoretical basis, s~ialoptimizationconsiderationsandexpectedaccuracy. Application to the SLC final focus is also discussed. _-
